The Pink Rose Appeal was created to raise vital funds for a brand-new breast care unit at Grimsby’s Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital – Named The Pink Rose Suite, which provides breast imaging and diagnostic services for patients.
Sarah Lawson, consultant radiographic practitioner at the Pink Rose Suite, provided this comment:
“I want to take this opportunity to thank the Pink Rose appeal and all fundraisers that contribute to it. Without them we would have struggled to even purchase the tomosynthesis licence. Those who raise funds for us are the backbone to this suite and it is due to their hard work we are able to continue to improve our services.”
With 1 in 7 UK females and every 1 out of 100 males being diagnosed with breast cancer, now is the time for change. Your support will help reduce these numbers and get much needed treatment to lower these statistics.
